i-Qlick Canon joins the biggest community of photography lovers in Cambodia in their CCPC (Cambodia Canon Photography Club). As part of their activities, they organize two members gatherings every year, in which their members share experiences, some speakers significantly linked to the world of photography inform about their working fields and i-Qlick Canon tells about their last advances. It is about learning and showing, engaging and interacting.
The last gathering was held at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center, a place full of balance and energy, where different pavilions are disposed around a gardened yard which works as a hall distributing the space. First, we set up a selection of the movable photo exhibition in the Japanese yard, accompanying the participants in their way to the auditorium where the event took was celebrated. Later, we could enjoy some minutes sharing our project with the attendants and, afterwards, we awarded the winners of “Why is water important?” competition with i-Qlick Canon and UNESCO.
We also had the chance to know other Cambodian photographers’ creations and the work that several journalists from local and international media are developing. We could meet a lot of professionals and amateurs of photography, getting to know their concerns and opinions about this thrilling world.
It was a very special day in which we felt very honoured to be able to share our work at many levels with such a related and expert collective. Thank you very much CCPC for letting us join and be a part of your day.
