We all were really happy with the activities we developed together in Siem Reap and Nolasko was especially interested in keep on collaborating with the deaf community in Cambodia. There is where he feels his interventions are more meaningful.

After a bit of research and a lot of planification, we have decided to divide the team.

María and Berta will continue our way to Rattanakiri and Nolasko will start his own trip collaborating with different NGOs that work with deaf people. So far we have engaged Krousar Thmey, Epic Arts and DCC & DDP. We have already contacted them and started scheduling many workshops in Kampong Cham, Kampot and Phnom Penh.

This is one of the reasons why we are spending some much time here in Kampong Cham, to get ready all Nolasko’s adventure, clarifying the agreements, terms of collaboration, the program that he will develop in each site etc… Mails, mails, mails…We’ve been very busy!

Next Monday we have a meeting with Krousar Thmey in Kampong Cham, this will be his first workshop. We will be here supporting him on this first step and then we will continue our way facing the steep Mondulkiri road…

Finger crossed!!
